Investigators
Enquiring if EO aligns with your organisation
Investigators
We are glad you are here, and hope the EO community resonates with you as a place to grow, participate, and thrive. While you might be eager to dive in, it is important to understand that it is not suited to all organisations.
This guide is to help you determine whether this community aligns with your organisation and people you may want to invite.
We call the people doing this exploring “Investigators”. This could be one person for smaller organisations, or multiple people for larger organisations.
Review This Landing Site
Review this Landing site together with the leadership of your organisation.
In “Who is Evolutionary Organisations Not For?” on the home page, we state that the changes required for a Teal level organisation are typically incompatible with the following types of organisation:
When the leadership is not Supportive or willing to participate and change.
Governments and Government Owned Organisations
Universities and Research Organisations (with some exceptions)
For organisations that are not compatible, some aspects can be applied in limited ways. However to do this requires experienced and competent guidance. EO does not have the capacity to provide this guidance at this stage. However it is something we may provide in the future.
Join the Community as a Single Member
After reviewing this Landing Site, if you think the EO Community may be suited to your Organisation then the next step is to explore the EO Community as a single member.
This allows you to engage with the content and other participants.
A particularly important part for you to read and consider once you are in the EO Community is the Accountabilities, in the Welcome Guide.
Engage and Reflect
In the EO Community, we invite you to examine the content and actively participate.
Engage in chat discussions and respond to the questions posed. Use this opportunity to explore ideas, clarify doubts, and share insights.
Participate in the video calls, look at the storyboard, perhaps even post your own story there. Ty to understand why other people and organisations have joined this community.
Reflect on the stages of development for organisations. What stage do you think your organisation is currently at for different aspects? What are some defining characteristics that demonstrate this?
Discuss the EO Community with your leadership, colleagues, and any other “Investigators” in your organisation.
Discuss with friends and family.
Evaluate the Purpose and Benefits
Consider why your organisation would want to pursue this initiative, and what the benefits could be. Are staff, the business owners and / or leaders seeking for any of these attributes in their work?
Meaning
Purpose

Connection
Imagine your organisation being an industry leader in the following areas. What possibilities would this open up for your organsiation?
Having a deeply meaningful and enriching workplace for the entire team, where people want to show up and contribute.
Having an inspiring purpose, vision and mission that people in the organisation understand and care about.
Achieving and exceeding financial goals with integrity and grace.
What are the Challenges?
Is the leadership willing to let go of power, welcome honest and difficult conversations and be transparent?
What is the capability of the team to engage in this initiative? Will outside help be needed?
What logistical challenges are there that would need to be worked out?
Are there existing tensions that will need to be aired and resolved?
Any other potential challenges and hurdles that would need to be managed?
